A pair of sophisticated Louis XVI style fauteuil (open armchair) with distinct neo-classical symmetry, oval 'medallion' backrest and straight, tapered, ring-turned legs.
The frames are constructed from a carved wood with shaped and scroll arms with a sleek ebonised finish.
The chairs retain their original upholstery of a fine needlepoint floral tapestry on a muted sage-green background
The internal upholstery of the chair has been fully updated with modern materials and to meet current fire safety standards
